another OWH challenge

OWH is hosting another 1/2 and 1/2 challenge. Lets get a jump on the "holiday" season so that the shippers can get ahead of the game. The deadline is August 14, so just over a month to send in box or boxes that are 1/2 holiday - Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and 1/2 everyday - missing you, thinking of you, birthday, etc. Of course there is some candy up for grabs too, so it's a win win that could yield a bonus...

Don't know what happened with my link on the day of the Blog Tour, but some peeps were directed to my earlier post and left comments there. So, the total number of comments equals 27. Random picked number 18, so to be fair I put the comments in time order and came up with Erika from CraftyRika who ironically got Random #18 for her tour winner as well... LOL Congratulations Erika!

Happy Birthday America!

Happy 234th Birthday to my beloved country! I have only been around for the last 42 of those, but they sure have been fun, challenging and exhilarating all at once. Sandy with OWH has done it again... instead of a typical blog hop we are doing a "blog tour" featuring a Birthday card to commemorate Independence Day. I will link back to the OWH S&S blog so you can "tour" around to all the blogs - any time over the weekend. I was thrilled to be able to use up some scraps to create my cards - I made 4 altogether similar to the two shown. Check out everyones cards, their stories and maybe, just maybe they might be having blog candy or even freebies!!! I have blog candy!!! I have two stamp sets - one Hero Arts misc. sentiments and one Art Warehouse that has sister sentiments, some flowers from Michaels wedding dept (pictured below - I really need to figure out how to take better pictures of cards and what I post) and then I will also cut up a sampling of some of the Quickutz I have, but those will be a surprise.... hee hee.
